Combatant Felix Mwamaso will slug it out against in-form Brian Mwando at M1 Centrepoint on July 24 in an eight-round non-title bout.
This is a rematch after the two boxers met early this year. Don King Boxing Promotions has organised the latest bout.
Mwando, fresh from his deserved victory over Charles Misanjo in a title belt, is a favourite on paper, but Mwamaso is also an experienced boxer.
Mwando has won all the last four games, whereas Mwamaso boasts 16 wins and seven losses in 23 bouts.
The stable’s Managing Director, Antonio Dzilimbire, said preparations were at an advanced stage.
“Mwando is in-form, so after a public outcry, we decided to organise about for him in the Capital City. Fortunately, Mwamaso is also a good boxer. We expect an entertaining bout,” Dzilimbire said.
In the previous title fight, Mwando defeated Mwamaso to win the middleweight belt early this year.
Six supporting bouts have been arranged to spice up the rematch bout.
