Long associated with the creation and enjoyment of humour through stage performance events, Team Entertainers has made the nation merry for decades.
Well, Team Entertainers seem to have turned the corner, in a manner that suggests that they have done it as naturally as an individual slips into sleep.
And, so, it is that Team Entertainers has brought together gospel artists and turned them into one mind that is the ‘Ester Sound n Light Mega Gospel Concert’ set for the BAT Ground in Blantyre tomorrow.
“Actually, we also plan to introduce our new stage, a stage that can accommodate up to 200 people, replete with facilities such as changing rooms. All is set for the ‘Easter Sound n Light Mega Gospel Concert’,” said Team Entertainers Chief Executive Officer, Tonderai Banda.
Tonderai added that, apart from the provision of entertainment powered by 55,000 wats, sound, smoke, bubbles, dazzling lights and the reassurance that comes with the presence of stand-by generators in a country plagued by the demon of blackouts, the gospel concert has an impressive line-up of performers.
“We have Gwamba, The Great Angels, Ndirande Anglican Voices, Ethel Kamwendo Banda, Thoko Katimba, Favoured Martha, Billy Kaunda, Skeffa Chimoto, Evance Mereka, Limbani Simenti, among others.
“For your information, we have been associated with gospel artists for some time and it is not the first time for us to work with gospel artists. We will continue working with them while giving Malawians the best in terms of entertainment,” Banda said.
He then rushed to BAT Ground, where he has been keeping watch over the new stage. Team Entertainers have not been taking chances, be it with the provision of entertainment services or taking care of a yet-to-be-launched performance stage.
