Mzuzu-based dance group Anonymous Crew has said dance entertainment is a great way of adding life and excitement to any event.

The versatile group said it uses dance choreography to entertain audiences.

And in a bid to become the next winners of the K2 million Kajive Season 3 competition, the Katawa-based outfit member, Lusayo Phiri, said they are keen to grab the price money through dancing skills that will enchant many.

“We did not join the competition for the sake of it but we would like to showcase talent from Mzuzu. Our preparations for the finals are advanced and we are ready for the finals

“We are so excited to be in the finals and believe that the Nrthern Region will rally behind us,” Phiri said.

The group’s existence dates back to 2013 when members, who happen to be friends, used to participate in various activities at school.

Other group members include Gomezgani Nyirenda, Peace Nkhoma and John Kachali.

“We have practiced hard and our priority is to win. We are focusing on getting the necessary exposure through Kajive so that others can engage us in various entertainment activities,” he added.

The group is, however, undecided on what they will do with the price money should they win the competition this year.

The group is, however, upbeat that the prize and publicity from Kajive show will be life-changing.

“We have not really had time to think about it. We want to make sure we use it in a positive way because we want to carry on with the business of showcasing the group’s skills,” Phiri said.
