Copa Coca- Cola justifies break

As the countdown to the national finals of Copa Coca-Cola Under-15 Schools’ Tournament continues, the sponsor has expressed optimism that teams will return stronger.

The tournament has been on a break for two months. The national finals are scheduled for this end of the month, when six education divisional sides will battle it out.

Coca-Cola Senior Brands Manager, Titha Mbilizi, said the benefits of the break were two-fold.

“Firstly, we wanted to give players ample time to study for examinations. The break also helped the teams to fine-tune ahead of the finals. We are confident that the break will serve its purpose,” she said.

Meanwhile, two Copa Coca-Cola football products, Sungani Chiwaya and Stain Mwale, returned home over the weekend having undergone one-week special camp training in France.
