South African Airways (SAA) says it appreciates the support given to the airline by the Chinese business community.
Speaking in Blantyre on Saturday during a customer appreciation dinner, SAA Customer Service Agent, Chimwemwe Luwani, said the Chinese business community has contributed to the growth of business on the Johannesburg to China route.
“The Chinese business community has been an important part of our business in recent years. “We appreciate the support we receive from them,” said Luwani.
During the dinner, SAA gave away various prizes, including two return air tickets to China.
Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce Secretary General, Li Wuping, hailed SAA for the dinner.
Li said the business community appreciates the punctuality of the airline.
