Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves have made a dream start to their maiden appearance in the Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Region Football Association Premier Division with a perfect record in the five matches they have played so far.
Coach Enos Chatama’s charges opened the season with a 1-0 win over Mangochi Challengers on May 26, before beating Bvumbwe United and White Eagles 2-1 and 3-0, respectively.
Bullets Reserve also stunned Changalume Barracks 3-1 on Saturday followed by a 1-0 triumph over Nyasa United.
The young Bullets have scored 10 goals and conceded only two while opening an eight-point gap from second-placed Nanzikambe, who have seven points from three matches.
Chatama was modest in his response to his charges’ blistering form, saying they are not there yet as the team is without some regulars who are either injured or sitting Malawi School Certificate of Education examinations.
