More winners in ‘Mlimi’ promo

Standard Bank says more people are now keeping their money with the bank following the launch of the Mlimi Alirenji promotion.

Head of Marketing and Communication at the bank, Thoko Unyolo, said Standard Bank registered over 5000 entries in the fourth draw of the Mlimi Alirenji promotion, a clear indication that more people are now banking with Standard Bank.

Unyolo was speaking in Lilongwe on Tuesday during the fourth draw of the promotion. “Through the promotion we would like to underscore our commitment to supporting tobacco growers to improve the quality of leaf to minimise the problem of rejection at the markets.

We believe that the current rejection rate at the market reflects how ill-equipped some of our tobacco growers are but through the Mlimi Alirenji Promotion we are giving our prizes aimed at supporting tobacco production,” she said.
