Maeve has rolled out a loyalty programme in which it is rewarding individuals for promoting and selling eco-friendly kitchen stoves produced under the Maey Project.

A Puma shop in Lilongwe’s Area 18 is among retailers to be recognised with the owner carting home K100,000 after selling 400 stoves in 2015.

Maeve Project Sales and Marketing Manager, Kinnah Offen, said the organisation has decided to start awarding the retailers as one way of promoting use of the stoves among Malawians.

Offen was speaking during a handover ceremony of the prizes to Ruth Chigona, the Manager of Puma’s Area 18 shop.

Chigona thanked Maeve for the recognition saying most people prefer the Maeve kitchen stove because of its efficiency.
