TOURING EUROPE—Patience

After his performance in the United Kingdom (UK) last weekend, during the 55th anniversary of Malawi’s independence, musician and comedian Patience Namadingo continues with his Europe tour as he is set to perform in Ireland this weekend.

The ‘Msati Mseke’ creator will perform at a red carpet dinner night on Saturday at Teachers Club in Dublin.

According to promoters Memory Kazombo and Henry Mkumbira of Globe Entertainment and Voice of Malawi Ireland, respectively, all is set for the event.

“We are looking forward to Patience’s performance. It is always exciting to have our own artists perform here. Patience has been on top of the game and this is why we thought of inviting him to perform,” Kazombo said.

Patience, who was invited to the UK by Malawi Association UK in partnership with Malawi Leeds Association, said recently he was looking forward to doing his best there.

“I am prepared to give out my best and I am all set,” Patience said.

The artist is also expected to perform in Denmark on July 17 and Paris, France, on July 19.

Patience joins other Malawian artists who are performing in Europe. They include Alleluya Band, which is in Italy and is expected back home next month, Gasper Nali, who is in the UK,

and Madalitso Band, the duo of Yosefe Kalekeni and Yobu Maligwa, who are in France.

Faith Mussa is also set to perform in Canada, Spain and the UK next month but, prior to that, he will record an album in South Africa with Benjamin Dube.
