Police in Mzuzu City have arrested two more suspects in connection with the murder of British national Allan Michael Fay, owner of Lake View Resort in Mzuzu.
This brings the number of suspects arrested to three.
Northern Region Police spokesperson, Peter Kalaya, has identified the suspects as Tina Kamanga, 36, who was wife to the victim, and Zion Chirwa.
Fay, 58, who was staying at the resort with his family, was found dead in the early hours of Thursday, some 100 metres from the resort.
“I can confirm that, after we arrested Lake View Resort Manager Gift Mtambo, we have arrested two more people.
“We are serious and want to find the people behind the murder so that they face the long arm of the law,” Kalaya said.
He said investigations were ongoing.
“We still ask members of the public to furnish us with information,” Kalaya added.
Kamanga is from Makandira Village while Chirwa is from Kamoza Village, both under Traditional Authority Mkumbira, in Nkhata Bay D istrict.
