TNM Super League action returns this weekend with nine matches lined up across the country after a two-week break.
Lilongwe derby between hosts Silver Strikers and Civil Sporting Club on Sunday is among the weekend’s high-profile matches and so is a meeting between Be Forward Wanderers and Dwangwa United at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.
Super League of Malawi (Sulom) secretariat released the fixtures Tuesday days after some clubs complained that inactivity was costing them money and time.
Sulom had shelved the league games citing security reasons during and after the May 21 Tripartite Elections.
Civil are on position four on the 16-member log table with nine points from five games whereas the Bankers have eight points from a similar number of games while lying seventh.
Last season, Civil beat Silver 2-1 in the second round with the first-round derby ending 1-1.
