SEEKING GLORY—Misanjo (front)

Boxer Charles Misanjo is set to test the prowess of South Africa’s unbeaten pugilist Nicholas Radley in an eight-round non-title fight set for Wynberg Military Base in Cape Town on Friday.

Radley, who has a perfect record after registering seven straights wins including six knockouts, has reportedly moved down from light heavyweight category to fight in super middleweight.

Misanjo has travelled to South Africa alongside his Zimbabwean trainer Clyde Musonda of Delta Force Boxing Academy.

“I know that the fight will be tough but I am unfazed. I have been offered some tips which can help me to surprise my opponent. He might be undefeated but he doesn’t have the experience to match me throughout the contest,” the 31-year-old boxer, who has 29 wins including 17 knockouts and 16 defeats, said.

Musonda said Misanjo would fight in his preferred weight division.

“I think Misanjo has also moved to a bigger weight division where he dominated and won the super middleweight national title. He will be comfortable and will certainly use his experience to stun Radley,” he said.
