CFAO unveils cars

Car dealer CFAO Malawi has unveiled to the Malawi market a fleet of new automobiles.

The new cars include latest Ford Everest 2.2 TDCi XLS 4WD 6SP MT. The Ford Everest is a modern style SUV, comfortable for passengers and spacious for cargo.

The car is powered by a Duratorq 2.2 TDCi litre engine with 118kw @3,700rpm and 385Nm @2,500rpm torque. It has seven seats in cloth upholstery, leather steering wheel and power windows, among other attributes.

The company also unveiled Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi XLT 4WD 6SP AT.

It is categorised it among “vehicles for work and play”, built tough and rugged and yet stylish, comfortable, technologically advanced and affordable.

The Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi XLT 4WD 6SP AT’s engine has, however, not changed.

CFAO has also introduced to the local market other products such as VW Amarok 3.0 TDCi 4WD 8SP AT, Hyundai Baleno 1.4 Petrol A, UD H29 MT and The ALL new UD H29 Truck.

CFAO Malawi General Manager for Sales and Marketing, Michael Khomani, said at the launch of the vehicles in Blantyre on Wednesday that the move is strategic.

Khomani said unveiling of the cars to the local market is also part of the company’s product development, innovation change as well as customer centrism and orientation.

“At the centre of our business is customer satisfaction. We aim at meeting the ever changing needs of our dynamic and demanding customers,” Khomani said.

CFAO Malawi are dealers for Suzuki Motor Vehicles of Japan, VW Passenger and Light Commercial vehicles of Germany, UD Heavy Duty Trucks and Buses, Cummins Diesel Automotive and Power Generation.
