Nigerian gospel musician Jimmy D Psalmist is not yet done with Malawi as he is set to hold one more concert and this time around at Comesa Hall in Blantyre on July 7.

Jimmy D Psalmist, real name Jimmy Johnson, held his first performance in the country last month at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe.

The Nigerian gospel star, famed for the hit ‘Mighty Man of War’, has since said in a video that he is happy to perform in the country once again.

“I had a wonderful time in Lilongwe and now it’s time for Blantyre to be blessed. I promise them the best. Heaven will kiss the earth on the day,” he said.

Wendy Harawa—who has initiated the concert alongside DJ Maya and were also the brains behind the first—show said people, should save the date.

“I urge and encourage people to come in large numbers. Lilongwe was blessed and there was a lot that happened so it is now the turn of Blantyre,” Harawa said.

Harawa, who played a fast one and collaborated with Jimmy D Psalmist and Lulu in the song ‘Chisomo’, said the Nigerian musician’s Blantyre concert is part of his Southern African tour.

“He will perform in Zimbabwe end June and then Blantyre to Zimbabwe again before invading Zambia, Botswana and Namibia,” she said.

Recently, Nigerian singer Sinach also performed in the country, holding her first show at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe and her second at Blantyre Sports Club, where she pulled a huge audience.
