Lilongwe’s Cockpit Lounge’s impressive offering of entertainment continues Friday with another classic dubbed Winter Masquerade.
Celebrating the beginning of winter season, Cockpit’s desire to give its patrons the best will see DJ Maya leading the proceedings tomorrow night.
The DJ will be joined by award-winning resident DJs Reubie and Crystal.
Cockpit Lounge’s Commercial Services Director, Martin Nkasala, said they strive to give fans the best entertainment.
“We don’t compromise when it comes to giving the best. We are grateful for the support that our fans give us. As we are beginning the winter season, our commitment to provide maximum entertainment remains the same,” he said.
Nkasala said, apart from entertaining fans, Cockpit believes in empowering artists in Malawi.
“We provide the platform for artists in Malawi including DJs. Without DJs, there will be no music. The fact that we give DJs the platform, the fans will have the opportunity to appreciate the role that DJs play in the music industry,” he said.
Nkasala said the Winter Masquerade is one of the many events lined up.
“This is just the beginning. There are a lot of exciting events lined up and I believe the fans will enjoy. The standards we have set have given the patrons some unique experience,” he said.
The lounge has hosted a lot of artists and musicians, including Tay Grin, Lulu, Sir Paul Banda, Edgar ndi Davis, Giddes Chalamanda and Mizu Band.
