Musician Gregory Mulema, who came to the limelight with songs such as ‘Muzisanzika’ and ‘Mwina ndi Cellular’, has resurfaced with a gospel album titled Holy Ghost.
The musician, who is based in South Africa, said Monday that the album will be launched on March 26 in Pretoria.
“The album is already out and is available in South Africa. It came out on March 1. But I am working on having it in Malawi. I actually have produced the CD and DVD,” Mulema said.
The 10-track album was recorded in South Africa and Nigeria by BFB and DJ Meg and Nimix, respectively.
He said he moved out of secular music and is into gospel.
“Christianity is a lifestyle and, so, I chose to be a minister of the gospel after I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal savior,” he said.
Mulema said he would be holding shows in different places.
He said it has been a learning process for him starring in secular, adding that he wants to sing for the Lord.
Mulema described the songs in the album as mature and that he has taken his time and listened to God.
