Counting has been completed in all three constituencies and three wards where MCP is leading in almost all of them except Dedza Mayani. Some of the surprises include Ndirande Makata Ward which has been grabbed by MCP while Mayani North, MCP stronghold, has gone to DPP.
Below are some of the final results, except for Nsanje Lalanje where votes in only 12 out of 13 polling centres have been counted.
Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) says it will announce official results on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
