NBS Bank has said Loto Langa promotion has received positive response from the bank’s customers. The bank’s Customer Experience Manager, Tamanda Longwe, speaking in an interview on the sidelines of the promotion’s July draw on Thursday, said since the start of the promotion, 4,000 new accounts have been opened.
“This translates to over K1 billion in the accounts. We have also seen an increase in savings,” Longwe said. She further said the promotion was one way of honouring their customers and instilling a spirit of saving and investment.
“This promotion is the first of its kind in the country whereby we want to recognise SMEs so that they grow into corporate customers. The grand winner will win a business worth K5 million of his or her choice, hence the significance of the promotion,” Longwe said.
Apart from the grand prize, the competition will see three customers in each region winning K50,000 each every month, for the duration of the promotion. According to Longwe, the promotion ends end of August.
