Silver Strikers have received a boost ahead of their Airtel Top 8 Cup semi-final against Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium, Lilongwe, Saturday.
Silver defender Mike Ntonyo and winger Duncan Nyoni, who missed the opening cup and league games, have returned from injury.
Silver Coach, Lovemore Fazili, said the duo has brought competition in the team.
“We will check their levels of fitness. Looking at the way the team is performing, I can assure you that this is the harvest year. We have spent many years without silverware, so we are targeting this cup,” Fazili said.
Last year, Silver failed to clinch the Carlsberg Cup after losing to Be Forward Wanderers 1-0 in the final at Kamuzu Stadium.
