Chisekese is a name for a traditional instrument. It is a traditional instrument that produces a beautiful sound.
Many of the choirs especially in the rural areas use Chisekese which is made from locally available materials during their performances.
And singer and guitarist Ernest Ikwanga used it as the title of his album just to show the power of this traditional instrument. He launched the album at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe on Saturday.
Faith Mussa, Menes la Plume and Jaco Jana added colour to the launch with their performances.
