GOtv subscribers pay bills at home

by

GOtv has embarked on a door to door campaign that will see the terrestrial digital service provider collecting subscription fees from customers in the comfort of their homes.

The initiative will also include sensitising Malawians on some of the services offered by GOtv.

The campaign, christened ‘GOMmisili project’, will involve trained GOtv technicians visiting customers in their homes to collect subscriptions and educating them on how to deal with any technical challenges on their GOtv decoders.

GOtv Country Sales Manager Vyness Simbi said the campaign has been successful after its roll out in the Northern Region.

“Most of the challenges that appear on GOtv decoders are rectifiable through the GOtv self-service code *570# on the phone but most people are not familiar with it.

“Through this self-service facility, one can activate a new decoder, reconnect the decoder after paying subscription, rescan if other channels are not showing and remove any error codes,” she said.

Simbi also said during the campaign, the GOMisilis are helping customers to pay subscription and interacting with them on various issues to do with the GOtv service.

“We found some customers who were watching two channels because they couldn’t activate their decoders. So GOMisili is helping to solve these challenges and educating the customers,” she said.

Simbi added that GOtv is committed to give maximum entertainment to its customers.

“GOtv channels are selected to ensure that subscribers get an exciting range of channels which will cater for the whole family.

“The line-up is designed to cater for a variety of different tastes and cultures, she said.
