Anticipation filled the air during Kajive Season 3 Southern Region finals held on Saturday at Robin’s Park in Blantyre.
Ikubha Crew were first to storm the stage.
However, the duo—clad in camouflage attire— missed out on routines, coordination and creativity; just like the other groups who were left out of the top four, namely; Ikubha Crew, Automatrix, Mchinji Boys, Shooting Stars and Amazing Dancers Crew.
Out of the 10 groups, only four had a chance to be selected to the grand finale and the three judges comprising Times TV presenters Sharon Chirwa, Yankho Seunda and producer Kenny Clips did not have to sweat when coming out with the list of who had to be booted out.
Despite being given enough time to prepare for the regional finals, some groups displayed their routines as if they only had a few hours of practice.
However, according to the judges, the top four were the ones that went an extra mile in impressing.
Kajive Season 3 grand finale is expected to take place at the end of February.
