National Bank of Malawi (NBM) on Wednesday donated K1 million towards the Institute of Bankers maiden annual lake conference slated for this weekend in Mangochi.
Speaking at the cheque presentation ceremony in Blantyre, NBM Corporate Affairs Manager, Annie Magola, said banks play a key role in driving the economy of the country. She said as one of the leading banks in the country, NBM saw it fit to make a contribution towards the meeting.
Institute of Bankers Executive Director, Lyness Nkungula, thanked NBM for the donation.
