National Bank of Malawi (NBM) has donated K1 million to support this year’s Economics Association of Malawi (Ecama) annual conference underway in Mangochi.
The conference is being held under the theme, Managing Risks and Protecting the Vulnerable. Making the donation, NBM Head of Strategy, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Wilkins Mijiga said professional bodies, such as Ecama, provide requisite direction to help the bank look at its governance issues for an improved business environment.
Ecama President, Henry Kachaje, said the support will boost the Association’s quest to make Malawi a more progressive nation.
