After unveiling the Tata Starbus in Lilongwe recently, Tata, on Wednesday introduced the bus to its Blantyre customers.
Tata Zambia Limited, Malawi Branch Operations Manager, Angello Zimba, said the coming in of the Tata Starbus would help revolutionalise the passenger transport industry in the country.
Zimba said the Starbus is ideally designed for the rough terrain of Africa as well as the Malawian market.
The Tata Starbus, according to Zimba, is very safe, thereby making the transportation of passengers an easy task.
“The bus is very spacious which makes passengers to travel comfortably to the various destinations of their choice. It has a big legroom which allows one to relax comfortably while on board,” said Zimba.
He further said the Tata Starbus beats any other competition in as far as pricing is concerned as it is very affordable.
