Malawi Stock Exchange listed commercial bank, FMB, is next week expected to splash millions to tobacco farmers during the final draw of the Mlimi Asangalare Promotion which it has been running.
Speaking on Wednesday during the 11th draw of the promotion, FMB Agriculture Business Manager, Gomezgani Kakhuta, said so far the bank is impressed with how the promotion has progressed.
Kakhuta said the bank has managed to give out K50,000 each to five tobacco growers every week in the 11 weeks of the promotion.
“Next week, the promotion will come to a climax when we conduct a final draw which will see one lucky farmer of club carting home K3 million,” said Kakhuta.
Other prizes up for grabs during the final draw of the promotion are K1 million, which will go to the second winner with a prize of K500,000 reserved for the third winner.
There will also be consolation prizes of 20 cellphones and 100 T-shirts.
