FDH Bank on Tuesday conducted its first monthly draw for the Millionaire promotion, which saw a Mzuzu based customer pocketing K500,000.
Maria Ngulube emerged the first prize winner of the monthly draw, while five other lucky customers got K100,000 and 10 others went away with K50,000.
FDH Head of Personal and Business Banking, Kawawa Nsapato, said the promotion is aimed at promoting savings culture among Malawians.
“We want our customers to have a habit of saving and so far, the response that our customers are giving us is overwhelming,” said Nsapato.
He further said the promotion will also serve as a platform for MSB customers to understand the operations of FDH Bank.
“This is an opportunity for us to tell our customers from MSB what services we offer,” he said.
The grand prize of the promotion is K5 million and for one to enter the promotion the requirement is for one to maintain a minimum balance of K50,000 in any FDH savings account for a period of one month.
