Premier Bus Services has announced that it will now be servicing customers travelling between Malawi and Johannesburg in South Africa.
The buses will be travelling between Malawi and South Africa twice a week, leaving Blantyre on Saturday and returning on Wednesday.
Premier Bus Marketing Manager, Maxwell Phangaphanga, said the new route has been introduced to meet the demand on the market for transport services between the two countries.
“As a Malawian company, we understand the challenges that people in Malawi face and the rolling out of this service serves as proof that we always strive to meet the demands of our customers,” Phangaphanga said.
The first bus let last Saturday and is expected to arrive back in the country on Wednesday.
Phangaphanga also assured the company’s customers wishing to travel to South Africa to try the new service saying it is convenient.
“We have been in this business for a long time and we know what we are doing, we have always given our customers the best and I am sure passengers will not regret travelling with us to Johannesburg, we understand that time is of paramount importance and we also keep time for our travelers,” he said.
