Veteran musician Giddes Chalamanda alongside Edgar ndi Davis Band Wednesday left the country for United States of America. It is now a dream come true for Giddes, who in his song titled Buffalo Soldier which he claims reggae maestro Bob Marley stole from him, sings that “if I had much money I would go and see America.”
Friends, relatives and other well wishers turned up at Chileka International Airport in Blantyre to bid farewell to the veteran musician as well as Edgar ndi Davis Band spearheaded by lawyers Davis Njobvu and Edgar Kachere.
