11 people including 2 Malawians have died at Tete Mozambique in an accident involving three cars including a Nyamende bus that was travelling from South Africa to Malawi.
The other nine people who died in the accident are yet to be identified.
Mwanza border Immigration officials have confirmed the development saying 5 other Malawians are in a critical condition and have been admitted at a hospital in Tete.
Among the critically injured are two expectant women.
According to the officials, bodies of the two confirmed Malawians have not yet been repatriated back home as the Mozambican government has demanded authorization from the Malawi government.
