TNM and Super League of Malawi (Sulom) have asked all stakeholders for a violence-free season kicking-off Saturday with a game involving the champions Nyasa Big Bullets and Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
TNM Public Relations and Sponsorship Manager, Limbani Nsapato, said they are ready to come up with measures to make the new season competitive.
Nsapato said they spiced up the re-launch by organising a bash last evening at BAT Ground where Black Missionaries Band performed alongside Lucius Banda and Zembani Band.
He said TNM mixed soccer with music because the two disciplines go together.
He added that once the new season kicks-off, they will introduce the Sapota Mapeto promotion for the fans.
“I know Malawians have been eagerly waiting for the kick-off, so the time is here and we can’t wait to see the action,” Nsapato said.
Sulom General Secretary, Williams Banda, said “we are expecting an exciting season. We are urging all the stakeholders to make the 2016 season violence-free so that the standard of our football can improve.”
