Malawi is getting more corrupt, that is what the latest data from global anti-graft body Transparency International (TI) indicates.
In a report dubbed ‘Corruption Perceptions Index 2015’ and released on Wednesday, Malawi has fallen from position 110 in 2014 to 112 in 2015 continuing the downward trend that has haunted Malawi since TI started releasing the CPI.
The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. A country’s score indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
