The Malawi National Under 20 Football Team returned home Wednesday from the Cosafa Youth Championship in South Africa.
The team only managed to get a point from three games. So pathetic was the team’s performance that it conceded four goals and failed to score any.
Football Association of Malawi (Fam) did not set any targets for the team—insisting that the aim was to develop the players by giving them exposure on the international stage.
