Nyasa Big Bullets assistant coach, Mabvuto Lungu, has attributed their ferocious bid towards the TNM Super League title retention to unwavering unity.
Lungu spoke about togetherness after Bullets weathered an early storm— having gone behind to Matthew Sibale’s 43rd minute goal for Silver Strikers—to turn it around with a 2-1 win at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.
Strikers Chiukepo Msowoya and Diverson Mlozi’s 58th and 78th minute goals, respectively, sent Bullets four steps up the league to fifth place with 22 points from 12 games.
“We ignore the rest of the happenings and focus on the game. The players and coaches speak the same language. We fight together. We struggle together, but we do not give up. That is the whole essence of our togetherness,” Lungu said.
Silver Technical Director, Young Chimodzi, admitted that his troops might have lost the plot when they spent time and energy reasoning with referee John Phiri over his perceived home-town decisions.
