National Bank of Malawi (NBM) has reiterated its commitment to the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country through provision of products and services tailored to meet their needs.
NBM Head of Personal and Business Banking, Oswin Kasunda, made the remarks at the weekend when the bank hosted its clients from Ntcheu and surrounding areas.
“As you are aware, SMEs are in majority in the country and NBM realises that its growth is largely derived from its strong business relationship with SMEs who are the majority of its customers,” said Kasunda.
He added that NBM takes the feedback it gets from its customers seriously as evidenced through introduction of services that meet customer needs.
“We are a customer centric bank and it is from the feedback we get from our customers that we are now in the process of expanding Balaka Service Centre and we plan to construct a bigger service centre at Liwonde,” he said.
