FDH Bank on Thursday unveiled a new promotion which will see one lucky customer walking away with a grand prize of K5 million.
Head of Personal and Business Banking at FDH, Kawawa Msapato, said the FDH Miliyoneya promotion seeks to reward both new and existing customers of FDH Bank and Malawi Savings Bank.
Msapato said the promotion also seeks to generate general awareness and invite customers to use the two institution’s savings products which are being offered on a new banking platform.
Recently FDH Bank and MSB were integrated on one core banking system called Temenos T24R14, a development which would help provide a springboard for innovative and customised products and service to customers.
“Miliyoneya promotion is open to those who have savings accounts for personal and business use, clubs and societies, which is either at MSB or FDH Bank. The promotion will run for a period of three months from June 9 to August 31, 2016.
“Draws will be conducted at the beginning of the following month for the period ending in the preceding calendar month,” said Msapato.
He said to enter the promotion, new customers need to open any savings account and keep in the account a minimum of K50,000 for atleast one month. Existing customers will be required to maintain a minimum balance of K50,000 over the same period to be eligible.
Consolation prizes in the promotion include a cash prize of K500,000 for one lucky winner, K100,000 to be given out to five people and K50,000 for 10 lucky winners.
