{"id":9774,"date":"2015-10-06T08:05:37","date_gmt":"2015-10-06T08:05:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=9774"},"modified":"2015-10-06T08:05:37","modified_gmt":"2015-10-06T08:05:37","slug":"standard-bank-partners-umodzi-park-for-blue-mingoli-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/10\/06\/standard-bank-partners-umodzi-park-for-blue-mingoli-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Standard Bank partners Umodzi Park for Blue Mingoli concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Standard Bank has partnered Peermont President Walmont Hotel, Umodzi Park in Lilongwe as its official hospitality partner for the Blue Mingoli music concert formerly Joy of Jazz scheduled for October 24.<\/p>\n<p>Announcing the partnership Standard Bank Head of Marketing Thoko Unyolo said through the partnership Umodzi Park will provide hospitality services, including accommodation for the headline artist South Africa\u2019s award winning vocalist, Lira and her team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith preparations for the show at an advanced stage, we are pleased to partner President Wilmot Hotel, Umodzi Par k for the inaugural Blue Mingoli music concert\u201d said Unyolo.<\/p>\n<p>The South African hotel chain also manages the adjacent Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) which will stage the October 24 concert.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from Umodzi Park Standard Bank is also working with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS), Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) and Nation Publications Limited as media and broadcast partners and South African Airways (SAA) as official airline partner.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on preparations for the show, Unyolo said all is set for the concert adding that preparations are at an advanced stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to keep our promise to make the Blue Mingoli concert a memorable experience for our customers and all music lovers,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Lira will be performing in the country for the first time through the Blue Mingoli concert and is expected to share the stage with Lulu.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Standard Bank has partnered Peermont President Walmont Hotel, Umodzi Park in Lilongwe as its official hospitality partner for the Blue Mingoli music concert formerly Joy of Jazz scheduled for October 24.
