{"id":9281,"date":"2015-09-26T06:16:08","date_gmt":"2015-09-26T06:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=9281"},"modified":"2015-09-26T06:16:08","modified_gmt":"2015-09-26T06:16:08","slug":"azam-tigers-seek-to-kick-start-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/09\/26\/azam-tigers-seek-to-kick-start-league\/","title":{"rendered":"Azam Tigers seek to kick-start league"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Humbled Azam Tigers are determined to return to winning ways in the TNM Super League when they face Mzuni at Kalulu Stadium Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Tigers have endured a bad start to the second round having lost once and drawn twice in three games.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, they finished the second round strongly when they were second on the table behind leaders, Big Bullets.<\/p>\n<p>At the start of the second round, Tigers have lost to Mafco and they drew against Kamuzu Barracks and Epac.<\/p>\n<p>Tigers\u2019 technical director, Robin Alufandika, said they were figuring factors that seem to haunt the club at the start of the second round.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis game will show us whether we have rectified the mistakes or not.<\/p>\n<p>But it is our wish to win to keep our dream alive to stay in contention for the title,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Tigers are now fourth on the table having collected two points in the do-or-die round. The Kau-Kau charges have 28 points from 17 games. Mzuni lie on position 14 with 12 points from 16 games.<\/p>\n<p>Mzuni coach Alex Ngwira said they intend to beat the relegation trap.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are working hard to stay in the top-flight league. It will not matter who we play and where.
