Gospel singer Davie Chiwaya on Sunday launched two albums titled Ndimayenda Naye and Hymns I Love at Robin\u2019s Park in Blantyre.<\/p>\n
The launch however, received low patronage.<\/p>\n
The launch saw the two albums eke K500,000 during auction.<\/p>\n
Chiwaya gave out his best during the launch<\/p>\n
\u201cI am happy with the turnout which I didn\u2019t expect. From Blantyre, I am looking at launching the two albums in Lilongwe and then Mzuzu,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The singer described his music as unique and added that he will continue to that he has strived to maintain his own style.<\/p>\n
He also said that he decided to release the album Hymns I Love as part of ministering the word of God.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are called to minister His word and so working on Hymns I love is part of ministering God\u2019s word. It\u2019s been a challenge releasing the two albums but I thank God that He has been there for me\u201d said Chiwaya.<\/p>\n
Other artists who spiced up the launch included King James Phiri, Beulah Land, Press On, We Are One and veteran musician Sweeney Chimkango.<\/p>\n
