No Pain No Gain Boxing Promotions has pledged to bankroll international camping for three local boxers that are destined to fight non-title fights in Namibia next month.<\/p>\n
Malawi\u2019s lightweight champion, Salimu Chazama, lightweight contender number one, Chrispin Moliyati and welterweight boxer Ernest Msoliza, will camp in Zimbabwe for one week before proceeding to Namibia.<\/p>\n
Chazama will face Namibian Martin Haikali in an eight-round non-title contest while Moliyati will take on Samuel Kapapu in a four-round contest.<\/p>\n
In a welterweight four-round contest, Malawi\u2019s Msoliza will date Mendu Kaangundue.<\/p>\n
No Pain No Gain Boxing Promotions managing director, Craig Rousseau, said they came in to support New Dawn Boxing Promotions by facilitating the international fights and camping.<\/p>\n
\u201cInternational boxing promotions, No Pain No Gain in conjunction with Delta Force Boxing Academy, brokered the deal to enable three Malawian boxers to fight in Namibia.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also sponsoring one-week camping which will be held in Zimbabwe. Remember the three boxers fight under local stable New Dawn Boxing Promotions and we are simply helping,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Rousseau said they were assisting because it was an issue of national importance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want Malawian boxers to do well when they fight in other countries,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Rousseau said they wanted to give local boxers a chance to vie for international belts as well.<\/p>\n
Local featherweight boxer, Wilson Masamba missed a chance to win the IBF Continental Africa lightweight title when he lost to former IBF World Youth Featherweight Prince Albinus Felesianu on unanimous decision two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
Masamba\u2019s three compatriots, including hi s younger brother, Aubrey, Felix Mwamaso and Charles Misanjo also lost in similar manner on the same bill that was staged at J&P Complex Onashitoke Ondangwa, in north Namibia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
