It is high time we utilised the Mulanje Mountain for the benefit of the people around and Malawi as a whole,\u201d<\/em> Bagus said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He urged the citizenry to jealously guard Mulanje Cedar, describing it a precious tree.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held under the theme \u2018Restore Mulanje Cedar to Enhance Tourism\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Main organisers, Mulanje Mountain Conservation Trust (MMCT), were delighted with the event saying it is a way through which tourists could get to know of Malawi.<\/p>\n<p>MMCT spokesperson, Kondwani Chamwala, said the event met its objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Attest 11 companies and organisations partnered MMCT in the organisation of the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Stevie Chauluka: The government has reaffirmed its commitment to boosting the tourism and hospitality industry to increase the sector\u2019s input to the national economic growth.
