Malawi is a nation of women achievers and our younger women should be inspired and motivated to aim for the top,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Banda urged Gotani- Hara and Kaduya to put the interests of people first when discharging duties.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cLeadership is a love affair. You must fall in love with the people you serve and the people must fall in love with you. I mean, strive to be a servant leader. It does not matter where you are a leader; be it in church, bank, Parliament etc the principle is the same,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cStay the course; do not allow haters to divert you from the path of excellence. Do not fight back; do not respond. There would be too much dirt thrown at you. You will waste too much of your precious time and energy focusing on it. Please remember hatred, anger and bitterness drain a lot of energy. You will need all the positive energy on your journey.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cContinue to respect others, continue to be a good listener, continue to reach out and help others especially fellow women. Continue to give a lot of love. Please, reach out and give more, remember that, by giving more, you receive more. Not the reverse,\u201d<\/em> Banda added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gotani-Hara succeeded Richard Msowoya.
