The 26-year old has penned a three-year deal with the Buccaneers,\u201d<\/em> Pirates confirmed on the club\u2019s official website.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He will have to be at his best to earn a place in the starting line-up ahead of other strikers such as Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga and Tshegofatso Mabasa.<\/p>\n<p>Mhango caught the attention of several big South African clubs after a five-star performance at this year\u2019s <a href=\"\/\/www.times.mw\/flames-finish-cosafa-tourney-with-plate-final-loss\/\">Cosafa Cup<\/a> in Durban, where he finished as the joint top scorer with three goals.<\/p>\n<p>Pirates moved quickly to sign the former Big Bullets goalpoacher who was also on archrivals Kaizer Chiefs\u2019 shopping list.<\/p>\n<p>Mhango has played for South African clubs such as Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows.<\/p>\n<p>He also attended trials at Vitoria Setubal in Portugal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ronald Mpaso: Malawi national football team striker, Gabadinho Mhango, has spoken of his delight at becoming an Orlando Pirates player.
