Its destination is Mangochi District, where patrons will while Sunday\u2019s blues away through music.<\/p>\n<p>The album will first be launched at Kachere Kacha Club in Blantyre on Friday from 6pm till 6am. On Saturday, it will be the turn of Chikwawa residents and others, as the launch will take place at Divas Lodge, Nchalo, in the district.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, on Sunday, <em>Chuma ndi Mame <\/em>will be launched at Zitherepano in Mangochi District.<\/p>\n<p>Guest artists include the \u2018Tchove Tchove\u2019 stars Organised Family from Zambia while Evance Mereka, Thimfu from Nsanje, Sir Brighton Banda and Sausten Peter will complete the lineup of local artists.<\/p>\n<p>Charo, in an interview Thursday, said he was ready to launch the album, which has 10 songs such as \u2018Seka Nkudyere\u2019, \u2018Chuma ndi Mame\u2019, \u2018Tasiyana ku Thupi\u2019, \u2018Menyani Nkhondo Mulungu\u2019, \u2018Lowani Mtima Wanga Ambuye\u2019 and \u2018Ndinabadwira M\u2019banja Losauka\u2019, among others.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI recorded the songs at DJ Lobodo\u2019s studio in South Africa because I wanted quality. And, again, I recorded all my songs in Chichewa because I wanted Malawians to appreciate my talent.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAnd, now, I have the opportunity to show them that my stage-work is second to none,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Banda, on his part, said all was set for the events, starting today.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe have finalised everything with both foreign and local artists and we urge Malawians to avail themselves of the events and have fun,\u201d<\/em> Banda said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One only hopes the pre-event hype will match the action on stage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Richard Chirombo: The artist\u2019s happiness, money aside, lies in the power to make fans\u2019 happy, untroubled by anxieties of daily life.
