We still have faith in them. It is just a bad patch that we are going through. The team is playing well but luck has been eluding us,\u201d<\/em> Chiwaula said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Civil Team Manager Gabriel Chirwa appealed for patience from the fans, saying they would turn the corner soon.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe players are committed and playing good football but the sad part is that we are losing games. We just need to get a win to bring back the players\u2019 confidence,\u201d<\/em> Chirwa said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Civil are on position 12 on the log table with nine points from eight games after claiming maximum points in the three opening games of the season before a sudden change of fortunes.<\/p>\n<p>Their next opponents are Ntopwa on Sunday at Civo Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Before the start of the season, Civil were one of the busiest teams on the transfer market, having signed seasoned players such as Dan Kumwenda, Timothy Chitedze, Blessings Kameza, Emmanuel Zoya and Damiano Kunje.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Mabvuto Kambuwe: Struggling Civil Sporting Club have backed under-fire Coach Franco Ndawa, saying they have not reached crisis levels despite losing five consecutive games in the TNM Super League this season.
