{"id":79831,"date":"2019-07-01T03:25:15","date_gmt":"2019-07-01T01:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=79831"},"modified":"2019-07-01T03:25:15","modified_gmt":"2019-07-01T01:25:15","slug":"big-bullets-supporters-demand-answers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2019\/07\/01\/big-bullets-supporters-demand-answers\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Bullets supporters demand answers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Mphatso Malidadi: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/stone-mwamadi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-40100 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/stone-mwamadi-300x119.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"119\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/stone-mwamadi-300x119.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/stone-mwamadi-768x304.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/stone-mwamadi.jpg 820w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Nyasa Big Bullets\u2019 Supporters Committee was taken to task after the TNM Super League defending champions surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with struggling Savenda Chitipa United at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Angry supporters questioned their players\u2019 attitude, criticising them for lacking fighting spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The fans also expressed dissatisfaction with team selection.<\/p>\n<p>After the game, several supporters surrounded the team\u2019s bus, threatening to beat up players if they boarded it while others assembled at the covered stand where they demanded an impromptu meeting with their executive committee members.<\/p>\n<p>The supporters angrily voiced out their concerns following the team\u2019s showing which has seen it winning four matches, drawing thrice and losing once to amass 15 points from eight games.<\/p>\n<p>Bullets Supporters Director, Stone Mwamadi, promised to channel the grievances to the club\u2019s board for solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Supporters Committee General Secretary, Mabvuto Chibambo, said it was understandable for the supporters to voice out their concerns with the team\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe supporters are only expressing their concern with the team\u2019s performance, which has not been convincing of late. Just like everyone else, the supporters want the team to do well at all times. But in football, we should appreciate that there are always three results\u2014drawing, losing or winning. So we should expect anything to happen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHowever, most supporters are refusing to stomach the result because of the number of our draws and the [2- 1] defeat to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.times.mw\/blue-eagles-inflict-first-loss-on-big-bullets\/\">Blue Eagles.<\/a> The performance is questionable because, after going commercial, our player welfare programme is one of the best in the country. So one wonders what the problem is,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chibambo said they would return to the supporters when they meet Bullets\u2019 board.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cEveryone from the President Konrad Buckle, the Chief Executive Officer isn\u2019t happy.
