This league contributes the bulk of players who shine for the national team and we feel remaining the backbone of the league is good for us,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>BDNL Chairperson, Junier Kazembe, promised transparency and adherence to rules to ensure a successful season.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe will make sure that all teams and players are disciplined as they play their games. We will also do our best to become good ambassadors of our sponsor\u2019s brand by marketing it through our league,\u201d<\/em> Kazembe said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Netball Association of Malawi General Secretary, Carol Bapu, hailed Rainbow Paints for supporting the league and urged other corporate citizens to emulate the company\u2019s gesture.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe appreciate the commitment which Rainbow Paints has shown by increasing the sponsorship package. We want such partners to continue supporting the sport for it to develop,\u201d<\/em> Bapu said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Following the increase, champions will pocket K1.2 million, with the runners up pocketing K700,000.
