We want basic learning to be done using ICT equipment such as computers,\u201d<\/em> said Isaac<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mazaza Jere, FTEF Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Justin Saidi, has welcomed the initiative.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis is very important because, as long as you teach and use the right methods, learners do not forget what they see and we are happy that many Malawian children will benefit from this initiative.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe have encouraged them to take the technology to all schools in the country so that we don\u2019t leave anyone behind,\u201d<\/em> Saidi said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Chimwemwe Mangazi: Learners in rural areas have a chance to become technologically advanced following the launch of a project that will result in the construction of computer labs and interactive software in primary schools.
