{"id":78530,"date":"2019-05-30T04:29:20","date_gmt":"2019-05-30T02:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=78530"},"modified":"2019-05-30T04:29:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-30T02:29:20","slug":"richard-mbulu-speaks-on-baroka-fc-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2019\/05\/30\/richard-mbulu-speaks-on-baroka-fc-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Richard Mbulu speaks on Baroka FC opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Williams Gondwa, <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>In Durban South Africa: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Flames striker Richard Mbulu has said he sees his new South Africa Premier Soccer League side Baroka FC as a stepping stone to a bigger club.<\/p>\n<p>Mbulu has joined Baroka on a three-year deal after leaving Mozambican top-flight side Costol do Sol.<\/p>\n<p>The former Mafco player has scored once in two games at the Cosafa Cup in Durban, South Africa, and also won a penalty which Gerald Phiri Junior scored for Malawi to beat Namibia 2-1.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI had some offers, including a possible move to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/chiefs-renew-gaba-bid\/\">Kaizer Chiefs<\/a>, but it did not happen. So, if I work hard at Baroka, I can get a move to top teams overseas. My mission is to impress and make Baroka happy,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mbulu, who scored in Malawi\u2019s 3-0 over Seychelles, said the Flames were performing well because of unity and fighting spirit.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe are listening to the coaches and are prepared to fight for each other.
