{"id":7822,"date":"2015-08-20T08:42:30","date_gmt":"2015-08-20T08:42:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=7822"},"modified":"2015-08-20T08:42:30","modified_gmt":"2015-08-20T08:42:30","slug":"ta-bvumbwe-dies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/08\/20\/ta-bvumbwe-dies\/","title":{"rendered":"T\/A Bvumbwe dies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Traditional Authority (T\/A) Bvumbwe died Wednesday morning at Seventh-day Adventist Hospital in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>Spokesperson for the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development Muhlabase Mughogho confirmed the death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cT\/A Bvumbwe died around 4am at the hospital after a short illness,\u201d Mughogho said.<\/p>\n<p>The late chief was born on June 3 1978.<\/p>\n<p>Mughogho said the burial ceremony for T\/A Bvumbwe will take place on August 22, 2015 at his Makungwa Headquarters in Thyolo District.<\/p>\n<p>Thyolo District Commissioner Charles Thombozi issued a press statement yesterday, announcing the death of T\/A Bvumbwe.<\/p>\n<p>T\/A Bvumbwe (Christopher Bvumbwe) was installed on June 1 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Thombozi said: \u201cT\/A Bvumbwe has died at the age of 37 after a short illness.
